Abstract;This paper introduces animal food described in the following archives: "Hachijo Hikki", "Hachijo Kiko", "Hachijo-shi", "Tosakokugunsho-ruiju: drifting in the sea". It explains the inhabiting situations, capture methods, and utilization methods as food of the following animals: (1) sea animals such as bonito, moray, shrimp, turtle, and sea lion, (2) land animals such cattle, wild goose, and duck.
