Abstract; In patients with Forestier's disease, a marked bony proliferations in the anterior cervical vertebrae often cause assimilation with the adjacent vertebral bodies. A physical stenosis of the posterior wall mucosa between the hypopharynx and the esophageal orifice induces the actual symptoms. In our Patient 1, surgery was performed due to the patient's difficulty in swallowing and young age. In Patients 2 and 3, considering the risk posed by surgery due to their age, a follow-up treatment was performed. (author abst.)
