Abstract;In medial temporal lobe epilepsy as an operation object, there are cases which passes of convulsive seizure and cases which recognizes remission of the fit. On considering the timing of operation, purpose of this study is to clarify the actual condition of such cases as a problem. As a result of the examination, in medial temporal lobe epilepsy which showed in the low age symptoms of disease, though remission of the fit was often recognized during the progress, remit after puberty was rare. In the recurrence examples after puberty, at point of time of the recurrence, a surgical treatment in early stage should be considered if possible.
