| Abstract;The valve (coupler) used at the switching position of piping, in the food industry, chemical industry, drug industry, etc., must be perfectly cleaned, at the time of switching, so that no previous product will be mixed into the next product. Moreover, in the case of coupler within any sterilization process, the preservation of aceptic condition is required, in addition to the above-said perfect cleaning. Our company has developed a kind of coupler suitable for such application. Here, the points of its development (two parts whose configuration should be made simpler), the construction of first prototype (improvement of O-ring's groove, adoption of metallic bellows, etc.), and the method/result of test, are explained. |
