Abstract; This paper explains the following items on the titled analysis: 1) Background; "Yagi Bio Ecology Center" started operation in April, 1998, of mesophilic methane fermentation of manure of cows and pigs (I) and tofu refuse (II), along with power generation, dewatering of digested liquid, waste water treatment of filtrate and composting of dewatered cake and manure of beef cows, 2) analysis results using operation data in 2000 and 2001; average VTS loading rate in methane fermentation of 1.6 kg/m3/day, VTS removal rate of 44.4 %, average digested gas generation of 32.4 Nm3/ton of I or II, CH4 concentration of 52-60 % and organic acid concentration in the digester of not higher than about 500 mg/L and 3) additional analysis was made on performance of biogas co-generation and ratio of heating calorie for the digester to recovered calorie from the generator.
