Abstract;A survey was conducted on the eating habits of goat cuisines in Amami and Okinawa regions and Korea. Differences in the eating habits of goat cuisines between Japan and Korea were as follows: (1) goat soup and non-cooked goat meat were eaten in Japan and grilled meat was eaten in Korea. (2) Restaurants serving the goat cuisines were located in urban areas in Japan and those in Korea were in mountainous villages away from cities. (3) Japanese ate the cuisines at occasions of celebration and Koreans ate them with family members. (4) Korean women ate goat cuisines because they were good for beauty. On the other hand, Japanese women ate them with parents because it was simply a custom to do so since their childhood.
