| Abstract;An update on the pharmacotherapy of atypical antipsychotic drugs for adult patients with schizophrenia was reviewed. The optimum pharmacotherapy for schizophrenic children or adolescents at acute, recovering, and residual phase of the disorder was proposed. It was also proposed that atypical antipsychotic drugs should be first choice as a pharmacotherapy for early onset schizophrenia. (author abst.) |
