| Abstract;This paper explains the following items on the titled waste wood (I): 1) Background; caution is necessary in recycling of I on residual toxic metallic substances such as CCA contained in preservatives or heavy metals derived from inorganic pigments and dust and 2) investigation results of chip-making facilities that treat I in Saitama Prefecture to clarify mass balance of I; not less than 50 % of heavy metals are sorted out as fuel and 5 to 70 % are separated into dust during crushing and sieving processes. |
