| Abstract;AG-mill Roughing End Mill features high performance in milling of sides and grooves and heavy milling of various materials. The newly-developed, high-alloyed H.S.S. is used because of its resistance to wear and chipping and the compound, multi-layered AG coating is used because of its heat-resistant characteristic in order to prolong the life of the end mill. In addition, a special wavy form for the fine-pitch cutting blade reduces milling force and separates chips from the blade, which allows highly-efficient cutting with deep radial cut depth and high feeding speed.
