| Abstract;This article reports about the meeting in the title held in Geneva from September 8 to 11, 2003. The number of the participants was 100 from 65 states, 4 from Japan. The number of discussed subjects were 8, including communication for rural area and remote area, investigation of problems caused by transition to digital broadcasting, application of communication to health care, activities of ITU for electronic commerce, strategy of transition from circuit switching to packet switching, investigating of access technologies for broadband communications etc. The next meeting will be held in Geneva from September 13 to 16, 2004. |
