Abstract;A 24-year-old female was admitted to our hospital complaining of right otalgia persisting for a few days after a trip to Nepal. Otoscopic examination showed a tick in the right external auditory canal. The tick was removed with forceps. The tick was identified as a nymphal Dermacentor sp. There was no sign of serious complication such as tick paralysis or facial palsy. (author abst.)
