| Abstract;Adgene is the bio venture founded by the two medical doctors with PH.D. and one of them belongs to the university medical school. Genopattern Method, the genomic analysis technology developed by Adgene, enjoys competitiveness in terms of quickness, simplicity, stability and overall cost consideration. However, unlike those seeds that may lead the bio ventures straight to partnership relations with big pharmaceutical companies at an earlier stage helping them to get rid out of the manufacturing and sales distribution burdens, Genopattern as the platform technology, needs to go so far as to reach a few groups of end users before the licensing coalition appeals lucrative to the larger companies. It is always the case that, however unique and novel the genetic research seeds are, their success as business depends heavily on the needs from the real market. (author abst.) |
