| Abstract;Chiloscyphus aperticaulis Engel, a new member of the Geocalycaceae, is described and illustrated from New Zealand.During the course of investigations of Australasian Geocalycaceae, an interesting species of Chiloscyphus came to my attention. To make it immediately available for use, the name is being published separately. Further details of the plant are included in a forthcoming detailed study of the Australasian members of the genus.
