Abstract; The roadside diversity by PSK-VP distributed antenna technique familiar with STD-T75 standard were characterized based on field test results. Considering "long-range" of about 1km-area and "short-range" of about 20m-area, we confirmed remarkable improvement against dead point due to ground reflection in long-range and reflection/shadowing of big vehicles in short-range. Although single antenna for onboard unit like ETC, the roadside diversity can realize quick, reliable, and high-capacity communication in a predetermined area with less influence from surrounding objects and vehicles.
