| Abstract;The World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) held in Geneva in December 2003 is one of the conferences of UN in order to establish and realize common vision of all the countries' leaders about the information society. The Summit is to draw and adopt Declaration of Principles and Plan of Action. The outline of the Declaration of Principles and Plan of Action adopted on the last day of the conference, which was attended by the leaders or delegates of 176 states, is introduced. The main opinion differences which appeared during discussions and the integrated results were summarized. Other events relating this WSIS are introduced, too. |
