| Abstract;The speaker, though he had been an officer of Posts and Telecommunications Ministry, served as the envoi to Finland, a country of IT as well as the country of Nokia, for 3 years. Based on this experience, he spoke about current relations between Finland and Japan, particularly about relations of science, technology and industry. Japan and Finland have maintained good relation since independence of Finland. Nokia occupies 40% of the world market and 80% of the parts of Nokia's products were provided by Japan. But it is regrettable that recent progress in relations between China and Finland makes Japan's presence less impressive. |
