| Abstract;The Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC) Plan was prepared in 1996 in order to establish a core facility for progress of information and communication technology (ICT) in suburban area of Kuala Lumpur of Malaysia. It could be called Asian Silicon Valley. The whole picture of the plan and its present condition are introduced. Infrastructure will be built with fiber networks. 7 flagship applications (electronic government, smart school, tele-health, R&D clusters etc.) and long-range plan are described. |
