| Abstract;The recent trend in growing Internet in China is outlined. The number of users of Internet amounted to 78 million at the end of November 2003, but this means that the coverage is only 5% of the whole population. And the majority of the users are young people. The connection condition (9.6Gbps) of foreign Internet backbone (IB) and Chinese domestic IB, situation of mutual connection among main domestic service providers, present broadband access services, Internet business etc. are introduced. The problem of government's regulations about access to contents is not avoidable. |
