| Abstract;Photocurrent generators consisting of organic electron-donor or electron-acceptor have provoked a great deal of interest in building up novel solar cell. To find a more expeditious and more general means of designing the multilayer photocurrent generator system on the electrode, we have taken advantage of the alternate adsorption method. Utilizing of the alternate adsorption method, small molecules were, however, scarcely deposited on ITO electrode with the opposite surface charge, and then easy to be pealed off from the ITO electrode. To deposit small molecules on the electrodes and prevent the exfoliation, we use a nafion membrane as matrix of dyes, which can be incorporated in the polymer. On the other hands, we report that [60]fullerene encapsulated in anionic calix[8]arene is readily deposited on the electrode through electrochemical oxidative polymerization of ethylenedioxythiophene (EDOT). As expected, the films generate photocurrent responses to visible light irradiation with moderate quantum yields. (author abst.) |
