| Abstract;A calix[4]arene derivative, which has recognition sites for an alkali metal ion, a transition metal ion, and an anionic guest, was synthesized. The host recognizes Na+, Ag+, and anion simultaneously. The association constant of the host and the anionic guest increases in the presence of Na+ or Ag+. This result clearly shows that multi-step regulation of the recognition of anionic guests is successfully achieved. (author abst.) |
