Abstract;We have prepared N-isopropylacrylamide nanogel cross-linked by hydrophobic porphyrin as a gel-receptor. It tightly binds 4-substituted normal-alkylpyridines in water and hydrophobic interactions contribute to its tight binding. (author abst.)
