Abstract;Oligodeoxyribonucleotides (DNA) are natural supramolecules in which two single strands are hybridized through complementary hydrogen bondings. We synthesized new supramolecules by introducing dyes into natural DNA and regulated their supramolecular structures by hybridization with their complementary DNAs. In the present paper, H aggregate of cationic Naphthyl Reds are prepared from two complementary DNA-dye conjugates. (author abst.)
