Abstract; In nature there exist many redox-proteins which containing different metal ions into their skeletones, like Superoxide Disumutase (SOD), Nitorogenase Fe-Mo protein and so on. Here we designed coiled-coil peptide aggregates capable to bind different metal ions at hydrophobic core. Mutating some of amino acids at hydrophobic core, selective binding for Ni(II) and Cu(II) was realized. (author abst.)
