Abstract; The activities of SG 3 (for Radiowave Propagation) shown in the title are introduced. At present, SG3 has 4 WP's (working parties), i.e., WP3J (Propagation fundamentals), WP3K (Point-to-area propagation), WP3L (Ionospheric propagation), and WP3M (Point-to-point and Earth-space propagation). WP3J has finished work of digital mapping of radiowave meteorology (making software) and is focusing on building entering loss. WP3K is involved in measurement of characteristics of electric field intensity vs. distance for mobile communications and broadcasting. UWB system will be discussed in near future. WP3L properly focuses on HF band propagation but discusses power line communication, too. WP3M is discussing problems of precipitation attenuation and fading at microwave data transmissions. Finally, this article introduces the number of documents written by SG3, and states that the activities of SG3 are made for good relation between radiowaves as a natural phenomenon and the human society, efficient utilization of radiowave resources.
