| Abstract;This article is Part 1 of the series about fundamental matters of the ITU-T, and introduces the outline of the activities of its study groups (SG's). Currently, the ITU-T has 12 SG's, SSGIMT studying the IMT mobile communications, and TSAG (Advisory Group). Each of the 12 SG's is concerned with wire communications including (fiber communications), the main topics of which are relations between the wirecommunications: human factors, fiber communications, Internet, mobile communications etc. The SSGIMT is responsible for wireless mobile communications but included in the ITU-T. In this issue, the activities 7 SG's of 12 are introduced. |
