| Abstract;Copper alloy for springs is one of the most important parts in terminals and connectors. In this paper, the importance of strength, conduction, stress relaxation, and bendability are explained. Furthermore, in order to determine the demand and required performance of future copper alloys, various copper alloys for terminals were classified according to their strengthening mechanism. In near future, demand for higher conductivity alloys with spring properties for automobile and other high strength alloys instead of copper beryllium alloy will increase. (author abst.) |
