Abstract;Effects of structure on porous metal supports were investigated using a boundary elements method (BEM) simulation to improve hydrogen flux in hydrogen-permeable membrane modules. Through the simulation the quantitative rate of hydrogen-permeation of hydrogen-permeable membrane modules could be estimated. A design for porous supports to increase hydrogen flux was suggested by the simulation results. (author abst.)
