Abstract;Dynamic ray-space representation offers a realtime, photo-realistic rendering of any dynamic scene independently of scene's complexity. However, the method requires an incredible huge amount of image data which is difficult for both data storage and transmission. In this paper, we propose a new compression framework aimed for dynamic ray-space data. Disparity compensations are used as the main compression mechanism to exploit image redundancies in both temporal and spatial domains. The framework fully describes both coding structure of image sequence and coding structure of individual frame image. (author abst.)
