| Abstract; We report 2 cases with adenoma of the ciliary body nonpigmented epithelium. In Case 1, the ciliary body mass was white in color and solid on ultrasound biomicroscopy. Because of its slowly progressive enlargement, the mass was treated by local resection. In Case 2, the ciliary body mass was solid on ultrasound biomicroscopy and enlarged rapidly. Because malignant melanoma of the ciliary body was suspected, enucleation was performed. Adenoma of the ciliary body usually enlarges slowly, as in Case 1, but rarely enlarges rapidly, as in Case 2, which was difficult to differentiate from malignant melanoma and metastatic tumor.
