Abstract; Two cases of primary orbital mantle cell lymphoma are presented. Mantle cell lymphoma is rare in the orbital region. The patients, a 75-year-old male and a 70-year-old female, had orbital mass lesions; no other lesions were detected systemically. Histopathological examination revealed monotonous small or intermediate lymphoid tumor cells in the nodular pattern or in the mantle zone pattern. Immunohistochemically, the tumor cells were positive for pan-B cell markers and CD5, and negative for CD10, results compatible with mantle cell lymphoma. Histopathologically, mantle cell lymphoma is categorized as a low-grade malignancy; however, thorough treatment and complete regression are difficult. These 2 cases were treated with chemotherapy or radiation, and achieved complete regression. (author abst.)
