Abstract; Most formulators develop sunscreen formulations, focusing on their texture, affinity to the skin, safety, photo-stability, or durability, not on SPF and PFA values after the upper limit has set on each value of sunscreens. In addition, chemical UV absorbers listed in positive list are permited for use. This means that formulators are required to develop effective sunscreens with limited number of UV filters, utilizing their expertise and techniques. In this paper, we recommend, Ethylhexyl Triazone, a safe and photo-stable UV filter with an effective UVB absorption and introduce our self-developed solubilizers suitable for Ethylhexyl Triazone. Meanwhile, we propose to use Abovenzone as a UVA absorber in sunscreens and introduce solubilizers and a stabilizer, Diethylhexyl 2,6-naphthalate, for this absorber. We also propose a full spectrum sunscreen, as a combination of two different systems containing above-mentioned two UV absorbers. (author abst.)
