| Abstract;This plan followed the national forest plan based on Forest Law, and chose the west half of the Hokkaido Abashiri Sub-Prefecture Office as an object. This paper shows the goal of forest improvement and maintenance for 10 years, and describes the outline of the plan. The scale is as follows: Tree cutting 2,500,000 m3, afforestation 9,300 ha, thinning 57,000 ha, and forest road establishment 80 km. This paper describes the basic stance of the plan decision, explains forest conservation and improvement, and shows the outline and present state. The following plans are explained: Object forest areas, items for basic improvement and maintenance, cutting of trees and banboos, afforestation, thinning and nurture, forests by public function, forest roads, rationalization of project, land maintenance, health function forests, and safety facilities. A large number of tables and the guideline for municipality forest improvement project planning are appended. The following numerical reference data are also appended: General conditions of this region, present condition of the forests, trends of forestry business, implementation situation of the previous plan, and transition of forest resources. |
