| Abstract;Changes in network design caused by progress of broadband network such as ADSL are surveyed. In addition to internet or e-mail service, appearance of VoIP and streaming service have made design parameters very complicated. Simulators, which are indispensable for network design, are changing from GUI type requiring complicated operations to TUI (tangible user interface) type, and those with possibility of easy simulation, with interactive input/output and enabling collaboration by plural number of people are being developed. Hereafter, design technologies will be required to consider organic connections among various networks and multimedia services including audio and video services. |
