| Abstract;The examination in the title is outlined for the following items. 1) The outline of the examination, 2) items to be prepared (echocardiogram equipment, probes), 3) examination technique/practice (patient position, consideration for the patient, examination technique), 4) advices. The examination technique is outlined for laminagraphy (approach from left sternal border, approach from apex cordis, approach from sternal superior fovea, approach under arcus costalis), M-mode method, and Doppler method. Also, the figures are presented for portable echocardiogram equipment, the position of probe in left sternal border approach and apex cordis approach, left sternal border LV extended axis section image, left sternal border LV minor axis section image, apex cordis approach, section image from sternal superior fovea, sagittal section image under arcus costalis, and M-mode method. |
