Abstract;Various teaching materials of chemical experiment utilized the color information of digital picture have been proposed. It is expected that by using an conversion of the color information to the simulated visible spectrum a simple method of visible spectroscopycan be established. In the present study, the practical method ofspectrum conversion of digital picture has been investigated and the applicability of the simple visible spectroscopy to various chemical experiments was discussed.
