Abstract; The case was a 68-year-old woman, and it was diagnosed as Graves disease in the blood examination under scanning of right heart failure since 30 years. The internal use of antithyroid agent (thiamazole) was started, and the thyroid function normalized. However, the thyroid gland powder was administered since it reversely fell into the hypothyroidism condition, and the thyroid function was stabilized. In the almost same time brown phase of tabular hard, which flatly heaved in lower leg, appeared. In the pathohistological view, there was the edema of all dermis layers and the deposition of the mucopolysaccharide between the fibrils. Thus it was diagnosed as pretibial myxedema in Graves disease. The thyroid function was maintained with thiamazole. Steroidal anti-inflammatory agent softened the skin surface, and it was obviously improved in about 2 months.
