Abstract; The case was a man of 40-year-old, and the lymph node in which right cervical region swelled was extracted, and the lymph node metastasis of malignant melanoma was pathohistologically suspected. The metastatic lesion was recognized in both sides cervical region, lymph node metastasis of axillae, lung, liver and Vater papilla mammae part, when the whole-body retrieval was carried out. In skin and mucosa of the whole-body, there was either no skin eruption, which suspected the primary lesion of malignant melanoma and decolorization element spot, which suggested the natural disappearance. Thus this case was diagnosed as malignant melanoma of unknown origin, stage IV. Urinary 5-S-cysteinyldopa showed the remarkable high value during the progress. The general condition gradually deteriorated the patient, and he died after 5 months from the initial diagnosis.
