| Abstract; The case was a man of 35-year-old, and the chief complaint was hypodermic node of left digitus anularis. There was the hypodermic node in which the boundary of the 1cm length was clear for the left digitus anularis proximal interphalangeal joint bending side in the initial diagnosis, and it heaved in the dome state. In the palpation, it came out in elasticity hard, and it adhered to the bottom floor, and it was accompanied by curvature restriction of the finger joint. Giant cell tumor of tendon sheath was suspected, because there was the continuity with the chorda by MRI, and the excision was enforced. Pathohistologically, multibunch tumor lump from dermis middle lamella with capsula fibrosa to subcutaneous tissue existed, and the fibroblast-like cell proliferated. It was diagnosed as fibrioma of tendon sheath without recognizing giant cell in the serial section. Reports from each service region in Japan for the past 16 years were summarized and were examined. |
