| Abstract; The skin eruption appeared in both lower legs of a 75-year-old woman 2 years ago of initial diagnosis. In the initial diagnosis there was unmade reddish brown torose lesion, which was hard a little on elasticity in the chicken egg greater with clear boundary in both lower legs, and the scale adhered on the surface. As a histopathological image, stratum spinosum swelled on the epidermis in addition to hyperkeratosis and indistinct granular layer, and there was the serrate extension of the epidermis protrusion. They were HCV antibody negative, antinuclear antibody negative, blood cryoglobulin positive. Thus this case was diagnosed as hypertrophic lichen planus. In clobetasol propionate external use, the uplift of the skin eruption was flattened in about 4 weeks, and it became slight macula atrophica. |
