Abstract; The infant are higher in importance of early diagnosis and primary care than the adult. The convincement and uniform management should be abstained as the serious and critical diseases are hidden though there are overwhelmingly a large number of mild diseases. The description was made in the following order : 1) First, 2) General matters, 3) Detailed explanatory matters (On symptoms : Exothermic reaction, convulsion, abdominal pain and dyspnea). The basis of infant medical care is to diagnose the whole-body thoroughly in a ligjht and warm room, so that the inguinal hernia and exanthema may not be overlooked. Looks and expression are important for the decision of seriousness. Though over 90% of exothermic reaction is upper respiratory tract infection, there are some severe infectious diseases such as infectious diseases of ear canal and urinary tract and digestive system and meningitis and septicemia. The score of Nelson may be utilized for decision of seriousness on the exothermic reaction of infant in 3 month or less. As an important disease, clinical observation and management of the following were indicated : Intussusception, acute appendicitis, inguinal hernia incarceration, ovarium cystoma cervix distortion. encephalitis, encephalopathy, meningitis, myocarditis, sperm measure distortion, pseudocroup, epiglottitis, bronchiolitis, asthmatic attack, accidental ingestion and poisoning.
