| Abstract;The ocular injury by foreign body is the emergent disease which requires early detection and early treatment as it may cause panophthalmia and serious eye complications. The description was made in the following order : 1) Outline of technique (significance, adaptation, contraindication : MRI examination is the contraindication when a foreign body of the iron piece was suspected, complications), 2) Things to be prepared (emergency medical instruments, emergency medical supplies : Local anesthesia, ocular local cleaning and prevention of infection), 3) Explanation of techniques (inquiry, eye washing treatment, optometry : Foreign body in eyelid and orbit, foreign body in anterior eye part, intraocular foreign body, removal of foreign body : Removing method by the position and instruments, etc. prevention of infection : Ocular local therapy and systemic treatment), 4) Point advice (importance of the inquiry, overlooking of infants' injury, leaving of foreign body, when foreign body is lime or cement, when foreign body can not be discovered, etc.). |
