Abstract; We have developed a dark-field thermal lens microscope for counting non-fluorescent nano-particles in liquid micro-space. In conventional photothermal method, high sensitive photodetector could not be applied in principle due to the high background property. However, we made it possible by combining the dark-field illumination and the photothermal method. In experiment, we investigated the basic properties by measurement of nano-particles in microchannel. (author abst.)
