| Abstract; The deep red papule with the pruritus occurred in head, face, and arm of an HIV infection patient of 40-year-old man frequently, and it was diagnosed as pruritic papular eruption (PPE). Pathohistologically it recognized in adnex and blood vessel circumference various inflammatory cell invasions of lymphocyte, histiocyte, and eosinophil. PPE is HIV-related dermatosis often seen in asymptomatic HIV infection person, but there are few examples of reports on PPE in Japan. And, it was explained that there was a case in which it worries about the diagnosis in order to often show no special clinic and pathologic finding. The constitutional symptom is preceded, PPE appears, and it may become an opportunity of the HIV diagnosis. It was explained that recognition for this disease of the dermatologist doing medical care at the initial stage infection was necessary. It was considered that the control of the blood virus quantity by the anti-HIV agent administration was important, when the resistance was shown for steroid local drug treatment and treatment by the UVB radiation. |
