Abstract; To 50 chronic urticaria patients (men of 19 and women of 31 persons), the autologous serum skin test was enforced. On positive person and negative person, the clinical observation was compared and was examined with the treatment progress. As the result, 24 persons (48%) showed the endodermal reaction positive. In the man and woman independence, they were men of 6 persons (31.6%), women of 18 persons (51.8%), and a high positive rate of the woman was shown. In the antihistamine internal use treatment, the endodermal reaction positive person was worse in the improvement of the symptom than the negative person, and it tended to show the resistance for the treatment. The autologous serum skin test was regarded as connecting with cause unfolding of the chronic urticaria, and prediction of the therapeutic response of individual case, because it could simply be done ambulatory.
