Abstract; In emergency measures for the injury in oral region, attention is necessary not only for the injury in oral cavity, but also for the injury in the circumference. Necessary examinations in the injury in oral region such as panorama X-ray and CT, and the process for the judgment of urgency and seriousness, are described, illustrating the procedure of oral region medical examination. Also, as emergency treatment, the representative techniques in airway maintenance, hemostasis/suture, recovery of luxation of temporomandibular joint, alveolar bone fracture, luxation of a tooth, and mandibular fracture, are described in detail. As the blood flow is afluent in oral region and face, a large bleeding occurs in some cases, and in the suture of the lip, a close attention is required to prevent slipping. In complete dislocation of a tooth, as there are some cases in which the tooth can be preserved by replantation, the case should be examined by a dentist immediately, with the soft tissue of the dislocated tooth. Finally, treatment and examination after the 2nd day and judgment of the transfer to a special facility are mentioned, and it is also pointed out that in the treatment of injury in oral region, it is essential to consider the maintenance of function and the aesthetic recovery.
