| Abstract;The Toyama Prefectural Fisheries Experimental Station and the Japan Sea-farming Association Obama Workplace are carrying out the seedling production, middle rearing and development of the release technology, as part of the multiplication business of Sergia japonica.In Toyama Prefecture, 30 natural female shrimps of which the seedling collection had been made in March - April, 1999 were reared for 1 year for the re-maturation; moreover the copulation with the natural male shrimps was attempted after the egg-laying and ecdysis, and the incubation of 6 shrimps became successful.In the meantime, the Obama Workplace carried out, sharing with the Toyama Prefectural Fisheries Experimental Station, the middle rearing of about 1 million shrimps of this age and the release test. |
