Abstract;In order to improve the seedling production technology of spiny lobsters, the Mie Prefectural Science and Technology Promotion Center, the Shizuoka Prefectural Fisheries Experimental Station and the Japan Sea-farming Association Minamiizu Workplace examined the environment and the feed suitable for the efficient rearing and the method of the water tank exchange for the mass rearing.And the phyllosomas of the middle and late stages of this species could be fed by using Todarodes pacificus, Sergestes, Salanx microdon, the leptocephalus of Astroconger myriaster, and the ovary of the blue mussel as the materials.And the techniques for marking and releasing the small-type individuals were examined for the purpose of developing the release technology.
