| Abstract;Hokkaido and the Japan Sea-farming Association Atsukishi Workplace have carried out since 1982 the seedling production test and the release test of the regional herrings of which the egg-laying field is the brackish water area in the east of Hokkaido. All the release fishes have been marked by ALC since 1990 and the follow-up study has been carried out.It has become clear so far that about 5% of the fishes released can be recovered in Atsukishi coast which is the release sea area, but there are also many unclear points about other sea areas.Therefore the following should be done in this study: To carry out estimation of the recovery rate of the released herrings caught in Atsukishi, and also to clarify the migration range and route after release from the situation of the mixed capture of the herrings caught in the circumferential sea areas. |
