| Abstract;In Ultra-precision Machining, Nachi has perfected the ultra-precision machining machines for optical fiber communication parts in addition to the machining of dies for precision lenses, semiconductors and electric and electronic parts. Nachi has introduced "Precision Slicing Machine" for V groove machining of fiber optic arrays and "Jet Finisher" for finishing an inner diameter of ferrules. "Micro-finisher" by film lap processing has acquired popularity as a surface finish processing machine. Introduced here is an ultra-precision complex machining machine, "Nano Facer NNF100P" where the grinding and lapping are combined to enable high-precision machine of optical fiber connector surfaces at Nanometer level.
