| Abstract; The sediment transport capacity is deeply related to the transfer and sedimentation of river bed materials of the alluvium reservoir in a drainage system. The relation between transportation and sedimentation in the river with the gravel bed in which the river bed lowers, and the general relation between the transport rate and tractive power of the river bed deposits, have the form similar to becoming an origin of fixation of the river bed. When the fixation is weak and the transport rate is high in the river with many deposited sediments, the transport rate slightly meets change in the sediment supply, and thus the river will choose either erosion or sedimentation.Since the supply and sedimentation decrease in certain stages of the erosion, the transport rate of the sediments rapidly changes in the stabilized river bed, and the river bed lowering will be caused due to this. |
